Charleston Dining Table Fine Hepplewhite three part dining table, of mahogany and mahogany veneers with white pine as secondary. Wood laminated frame, consisting of three pieces , a center section with falling leaves, four legs two fly legs, and two demilune ends fitted with edge tenons and brass cleats. The frieze and leg faces are decorated with lightwood stringing and shaded paterae inlays over each leg. Ending with inlaid cuff feet. Attributed to Charleston South Carolina. Circa 1790-1800. Height is 29.75" , 41" wide,107.75" long fully opened. |
